Browser Built For Productivity
Polished AI-powered slide decks, multichannel marketing platform, business tax credits harvesting and more
Greetings from The SaaSsy Entrepreneur, a weekly newsletter that injects a healthy dose of digital steroids into your life and business 💉
Today we'll cover 5 useful tools and 5 interesting links.
⌛️ TL;DR
Browser built for productivity - SigmaOS
Polished slide decks powered by AI - Gamma
Multichannel marketing platform - SendPulse
Business tax credits - Tax Credit Hunter
Complete e-commerce platform - Aasaan
🛠️ Productivity
Browser built for productivity
Keyboard shortcuts for everything
Multiple workspaces and split screen
Chrome extension support
Tab grouping, tagging, locking, snoozing
Pricing: Free Personal; $10/month Personal Pro; 20% off when billed annually
My 2 cents: If you struggle with tab fatigue check out SigmaOS. This browser is laser-focused on making you productive and organized. The UX is radically different than most other browsers. So, it’ll take some getting used to. But once you do you’ll be flying. Plus, the UI is as beautiful as it is intuitive. Gem.
🎨 Creativity
Polished slide decks powered by AI
Embed GIFs, charts, social media posts, videos, websites, etc.
Built-in analytics, comments, quick reactions, and other collab features
Pricing: Free while in beta
My 2 cents: Beautiful presentations without the hassle of formatting and design work. It’s easy, fast, and free (during beta, at least).
📈 Marketing
Engage with customers via email, SMS, chatbots, push notifications
Create landing pages, online courses, lead capture pop-ups
Pricing: Varies for each product; most products start free
My 2 cents: Conduct an entire customer outreach from a single, unified platform. One major advantage of all-in-one platforms like SendPulse is that their services are tightly integrated. This means you spend less time trying to get apps and services across your stack to work well with one another.
💰 Money
Tax credits for all types of businesses
You can claim certain tax credits retroactively for up to three years.
Easy 4-step application process
Pricing: Fees vary based on the size of the tax credit savings
My 2 cents: "I love taxes" - said no one ever. Tax credits, on the other hand… Well, who doesn’t love those, amirite? Most small businesses leave millions of dollars in eligible tax credits on the table every year. If you think you might’ve done the same, give Tax Credit Hunter a look.
💻 Business
Built-in features eliminate the need of external plugins and add-ons
Integrations with 3rd party apps and services when needed
Pricing: From $24/month Standard to $199/month Business; 25-30% off when billed annually
My 2 cents: Launched in 2021, Aasaan is not exactly the most mature or battle-tested e-com platform out there. That being said, they constantly add new features that make the platform a solid choice for selling physical goods.
🔎 Rad reads & resources
A detailed comparison of three major AI chatbots by TheVerge. TL;DR: Bard is bad, Bing is the best search companion, and ChatGPT v4 is the best at creative tasks.
James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits, built a massive email list by following a simple process: create and regularly send helpful, in-depth emails, publish them on your website, encourage readers to share.
Jake Thomas who runs a weekly Youtube newsletter Creator Hooks dropped this value-packed research into what makes a good Youtube title. The best part is, it’s only $7.
Katt Risen interviews a serial solopreneur Bram Kanstein who’s built and sold five projects for 5-figures each in 7 years using no-code tools.
You've seen these kinds of lists before. This one, being no different, packs a number of beaten-to-death bits of folk wisdom. However, there are more than a few good ones here. For example, #98: Make a friend from a different generation. Some are even a little silly, like #81: Learn a TikTok dance (but don't post it on TikTok).
Let's play a little, shall we
The name of the game is "Guess the number of replies" 🎰
Simply reply to this email with your best guess of how many people reply to this email in one week. Whoever guesses the correct number wins the prize pool money 💰 The counter resets every week, btw.
If no one guesses the number I'll double the pool and the show will go on. Heads up, I'll be posting the # of active newsletter subscribers on Twitter and LinkedIn occasionally.
If by the year's end, the game is still on I'll donate the money to a charity of y'all's choosing.
May the odds be ever in your favor!
Current prize pool: $60
What do you think of this week's edition? Anything I might've missed? Reply and let me know what YOU found interesting this week. If it's really dope I'll include it in the next email 🤜
