Word Processor UI Cleaner Than Tesla Interior + This AI Can Replace Your High-End Mic

Ad creatives AI generator, privacy-first web analytics, and more

Greetings from The SaaSsy Entrepreneur, a weekly newsletter that injects a healthy dose of digital steroids into your life and business šŸ’‰

Today we'll cover 10 useful tools and 5 interesting links.

āŒ›ļø TL;DR

šŸ’» Productivity

  • Word processor powered by just the right amount of AI

  • Clutter-free UI for focused writing

  • Markdown-based shortcuts

  • Easy sharing and live collaboration

Pricing: Free while in beta; thereā€™s a waitlist.

My 2 cents: Thereā€™s no shortage of AI writers. However, not all are created equally. For me, one of the best for actually writing is Lex. It removes the noise of distracting AI features and lets you focus on productive writing and nothing else.

  • Customizable Mac window manager

  • Free & open-source

  • Caveat - no longer actively maintained

Pricing: Free

My 2 cents: Assign custom shortcuts and manage windowsā€™ size and layout like a pro. While it hasnā€™t been updated in a long time it still works remarkably well even on the latest MacOS w/o any bugs.

šŸŽØ Creativity

  • AI-powered teleprompter on your phone

  • Text-to-script-to-teleprompt AI Magic Writer

  • Basic video editor

  • Automatic captioning and transcription

  • Live streaming to Facebook, Youtube, and LinkedIn

Pricing: Free basic; individual plans from $19/month to $39/month; 67% off when billed annually

My 2 cents: BigVu is the best teleprompter hands down. If youā€™re in need of one, look no further. Recent additions of AI features, such as text-to-script, only make it better.

  • AI speech enhancer and transcriber

  • Remove noice and echo from audio

  • Edit audio like a word doc by using a transcript

Pricing: Free while in beta; thereā€™s a waitlist.

My 2 cents: Audio quality makes or breaks a video, let alone a podcast. I would know, I have a Youtube channel. Creators used to purchase expensive audio gear: mics, amps, etc. to improve sound quality. Thanks to AI, all that is no longer necessary. Tools like Adobe Podcast can now turn an average audio recording into one that sounds straight out of a professional studio. Thatā€™s the magic of AI.

šŸ“ˆ Marketing

  • Ad-focused AI copy and visuals generator

  • Conversion-optimized ads and social media creatives

  • Ad performance analytics via direct integration with Google and Facebook

Pricing:

  • credit-based plans

  • from $29/month to $149/month

  • 2 months free when billed annually

  • 25% off with FIRSTYEAR25 coupon code šŸ˜‰

My 2 cents:

  1. Save time - dozens of ready-to-go conversion-focused ads in seconds

  2. Save money - no need to hire expensive designers and copywriters

  3. Make money - they offer white label which means $$$ if youā€™re running an agency

This week Iā€™m launching a new ad campaign. Naturally, I need a great copy and a bunch of strong visuals. Guess which of my favorite tools for these ad-campaign-y tasks Iā€™m going for. AdCreative is an absolute time saver. So glad I snatched a lifetime deal when it was still available.

  • Cookie-less privacy-first web analytics

  • Clean dashboard with all the essential data points

  • EU-based and hosted

  • Data is encrypted and never sold

Pricing: From $19/month ($9/month when billed annually) for 100K datapoints to $99+/month depending on usage.

My 2 cents: Consumers are more privacy aware than ever. Dunno about you but for me cookie banner pop-ups are annoying AF. Simple Analytics lets you analyze the traffic without snooping on your visitorsā€™ privacy. Win-win.

šŸ’° Money

  • Invest in real estate starting at $100

  • Luxury short-term rentals (STRs)

  • More investment assets coming soon

Pricing: Fee-based; fee structure unknown; thereā€™s a waitlist.

My 2 cents: Seems like every month a new platform is launched aiming to democratize alternative investments for the rest of us. These folks have a badass domain name and ambitions to match. Right now theyā€™re focusing on luxury STRs. Later this year they plan on expanding into other real estate niches, car dealerships, sports teams, franchises, you name it. Alts.co did a good deep dive on their recent podcast. Watch it here. Iā€™m excited to see how far they will actually go.

  • Business banking for freelancers

  • Built-in tax and payment withholding tools

  • Fast application processing

  • FDIC-insured deposits

  • No hidden fees or deposit minimums

  • 1.5% unlimited cashback on all purchases

Pricing: Free basics; extra features $12/month

My 2 cents: It's great to see banking tools like Lance combining multiple essential features into one comprehensive platform for today's online entrepreneurs.

šŸ’» Business

  • Analyze and optimize Amazon listings

  • Research keywords, competing products, organic volume

  • Analyze product reviews

Pricing: Free basics; extra features from $5/month to $39/month

My 2 cents: For e-commerce store owners, squeezing every last conversion out of product listings is a never-ending game. If Sellesta delivers even 1/10 of what it claims, itā€™s a no-brainer.

  • Automated ad bookings using Google Sheets

  • Eliminate back-and-forth emails with sponsors

  • One-time payment and fast setup

Pricing: $39

My 2 cents: Finding, dealing with, and managing sponsors is a time suck, or so Iā€™ve heard. Iā€™d gladly pay $39 to automate this process, even partially, so that I could focus on the core business. Hence why the Ad Booking System caught my attention.
